I never understood the “romance novel” version of falling in love. Though, I have to say, falling in love really is a crazy-ass ride. Part of you is going wild with emotion, happiness and lust, the other part is waiting for the shoe to drop because nothing this good can last for very long (or it could be totally onesided, which is even worse). But once the endorphin rush slows down and you can see your relationship for what it is (or is not), that’s when real love kicks in. The reality of love, its sacrifices, its rewards and the work that lies ahead for both parties involved. Unless, of course, you’re one of that rare breed that can be in love with more than one person at a time.
I agree with Arc…taking the leap serves you in so many ways and the lessons learned are almost always worth the cost.

yes. but it’s a goddamn good ride… until you hit rock bottom that is. you can actually hear that dull *thudsplat* humans make when they hit the bottom of whatever sinkhole they dropped into for a split second before your brain is reduced to pulp.
but idk. who said there’s a bottom to every sinkhole? and would you want to live a life without even taking the jump down once?
